Does The Catholic Church Need To Help Illegal Aliens
I am torn on this. Our Church needs to help those in need period. Matthew 5:7 “Blest are they who show mercy; mercy shall be theirs. Yet we do have laws in our country about coming to this country. Again though our laws do not prohibit a church from aiding human beings in need. I think some people are upset when this aid gets in the way of deportation. There are many Catholics in this country that believe that a law should be followed and that any who break it must suffer the consequences.
The bottom line is as long as the church does not break the laws of the host country then let them help those who need to be helped regardless if they are legal or not.
These are my thoughts for the day. On another note, I want to thank all who read this. I have no idea who you are.
